Now accepting clients virtually

I am a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional committed to creating a safe, affirming, and empowering space for healing, growth, and meaningful connection. I specialize in supporting individuals, adolescents, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I have a special interest in working with high achieving Black women and understand that healing is not one size fits all, especially for those whose experiences are shaped by unique cultural, societal, and generational factors.

I believe that relationships are often at the center of both our greatest pain and our greatest healing. Because of this, I strive to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment where individuals, couples, and families feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow together. My work focuses on helping clients improve communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, and foster deeper emotional connection in their relationships and family systems.

With a strong clinical foundation and diverse experience in mental health care, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational concerns, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and identity related stressors. I also specialize in supporting couples and families experiencing communication breakdowns, conflict, trust concerns, parenting stress, emotional disconnection, unresolved hurt, blended family dynamics, and relational challenges shaped by trauma, stress, or major life changes. Whether you are struggling to reconnect in your partnership, navigating parent child conflict, or seeking healthier ways to communicate and relate to one another, therapy can provide the support and tools needed to strengthen understanding and connection.

My approach is relational, culturally responsive, and trauma informed, with a strong focus on understanding patterns of interaction and the emotions that drive them. I believe many relationship struggles are not simply about disagreement, but about unmet needs, emotional wounds, and cycles of communication that leave people feeling unheard, unseen, or disconnected. Together, we work to identify these patterns, strengthen emotional safety, improve communication, and create healthier ways of relating.

I utilize evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change. These approaches allow me to tailor treatment to your individual and relational needs, whether that means reframing unhelpful thought patterns, processing trauma, strengthening emotional bonds, building healthier coping skills, or increasing motivation for change.

I am especially passionate about helping teens and adolescents develop emotional awareness, confidence, and healthy coping skills during critical stages of identity development. In my work with couples and families, I focus on helping clients move beyond conflict and survival mode toward deeper connection, greater understanding, and healthier relationships.

My goal is to meet you where you are with warmth, authenticity, and clinical insight while gently challenging you toward growth. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for change, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, wholeness, and stronger relationships.
