Therapist

Pain is a language that we all can and most likely have spoken. From
rejection, abandonment, grief, and loss to life’s many uncontrollable
circumstances, pain often feels inevitable. Leaning into healing from my
own painful experiences has been the driving force behind my desire to
help bring healing and wholeness to others. I am passionate about
working with individuals who have experienced various forms of pain,
including trauma, religious trauma, mood disorders, substance use and
addiction, low self-esteem, and multicultural/systemic challenges.
My therapeutic style is one where soundness, wellness, authenticity, and
peace can take root. I draw from a wide range of approaches, including
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative
Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy. My hope is that you leave counseling feeling equipped,
empowered, and emboldened to navigate past, present, and future
obstacles in life.
I challenge those I work with to prioritize self-care, as it is pivotal to
overall wellness. I also challenge myself to practice what I preach.
Outside of my work as a therapist, you can find me creating content,
binge-watching movies and series on Netflix, updating my Pinterest
boards, catching up on vlogs on YouTube, reading, journaling, and
spending time with family and friends.
I would be honored to walk with you on your journey toward holistic
wellness. I leave you with this quote below as you consider the next step
forward.
“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – Carl
Jung
